Students pursuing a minor in Political Science will learn critical-thinking skills to help them make sense of the complex world of politics.
A minor will expose you to the major fields of the discipline: American politics, international relations, comparative politics, and public policy. You will build data-analysis skills in the Research Methods course sophomore year, where you work with real data to test your own research ideas.
To earn a minor, students must complete five required courses and one elective, all with a grade of “C” or better.
This program is popular among students interested in pursuing law school and those majoring in History and Studies in War & Peace, but it’s a great fit for virtually any major at Norwich.
For a minor in Political Science, the student must complete 18-credits (six courses) with a grade of “C” or better.
