Any student can benefit from a minor in mathematics, as it is a subject that truly pervades every discipline and career. A basic understanding of mathematical concepts will serve every student well, whether he or she is seeking a career in biology, engineering, management or any number of options.
Students are invited to design their own programs to blend courses with their academic majors, with the advice of the department.
For a minor in mathematics, students must complete six courses above basic math with at least three at the 300 and 400 level, all with a grade of “C” or better.
