A minor in history is a great way to develop your knowledge of how the past shapes the present. You will learn far more than names and dates. Instead, you will come to appreciate the diversity of human societies throughout time.
Students tailor the minor to their own interests, while building historical research and analytical skills by taking a required junior-level research colloquium.
The flexibility of the program requirements makes it easy to fit requirements into the schedule of nearly any major Norwich offers. Students must complete six history courses with a grade of āCā or better, at least two of which are 300 level. One of the 300-level courses must be a colloquium.
