Conception through completion
The disciplines of business, engineering, management and architecture converge on every construction site.
Norwich University’s Engineering Management degree program teaches students the multidisciplinary skills necessary to take projects from the conceptual stage to the grand-opening ceremony.
This is a big-picture degree, and our students learn to assess, strategize and execute projects using skills learned in the classroom and the real world. Along with business, engineering and architecture courses, students take Engineering Management classes specifically designed to prepare them for challenges on the job site and in the office. The goal is a foundational understanding of:
- Building materials
- Electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems
- Economics
- Accounting
- Law
- Information technology
Core studies also feature courses in the humanities, mathematics, social and hard sciences. Upon graduation, our students are ready to sit for several industry certification exams.
