The making and meaning
of the built environment
Norwich’s Architecture program reflects the University’s ideals; to develop citizens with integrity, conviction and self-respect, educated and motivated to lead and serve the community.
Skills are essential, but experiential learning goes well beyond their development. Reflection is half of this kind of learning process, and creativity goes hand-in-hand with discipline and the sharing of experience. We are concerned with all the dimensions of making and meaning.
To begin, have a look at our programs. We offer undergraduate bachelor and minor degrees, and a professional Master of Architecture. Students also may pursue minor degrees in art history and studio art, featuring a broad range of theoretical and hands-on courses.
